Twenty years ago today, Sonic the Hedgehog 2 was released in Europe. It’s still my favourite video game, and though the Mega Drive is long gone, I still have the original Solid Gold walkthrough… Viva 1992!

Fantastic! Sonic – a stroke of genius. Although I skipped the walkthrough and pressed up, down, left, right, A, B, C on the title screen and headed straight for Dr. Robotnik!
